Ian has completed a full professional training to Masters Level in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, which is approved by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, (UKCP).
He is a Registered Psychotherapist with the UKCP, is an Accredited Psychotherapist with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is a UKRC Registered Independent Therapist. Ian has undertaken specialist training as an Eating Disorders Practitioner, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, compulsive eating and obesity.
Ian has over 10 years experience of providing supervision to other Psychotherapist and Counsellors. He is committed to his ongoing professional development and has attended a multiplicity of lectures seminars and training workshops to continue to improve the quality of his work.
Ian works within the ethical framework and codes of practice of the UKCP and BACP and has over 25 Years experience of working in Health, Social Services and Education settings, as well as Private Practice.
